Islamabad-Ghizer-Chitral Tour & Trek
Itinerary
Day-1
Arrival at Islamabad and transfer to Hotel, in case of early arrival same day fly to Gilgit. Transfer to Hotel in Serena. Explore Gilgit City, Visit Chinese Yards at Danyor.
Day-3
Trek to Boimoshani approx altitude is 4000mt total walk is about 10 I would take 4 to 5 hours overnight camp.
Day-2
Drive to Darkot village on the way to Punyal valley, Gupas Fort and stop at Yasin village overnight camp. 7 to 8 hours drive.
Day- 4
Trek to NeeBar 5 to 6 hours walk overnight camp.
Day-5
Trek to Holojut after crossing Punji Pass the elevation is 4700m, the summit of the pass is a little strenuous. Overnight camp.
Day-7
Ascend to Iskomen village Ghotulti and same day drive to Khalti Lake 2 to 3 hour drive overnight at PTDC hotel.
Day-6
Holojut to Handis. It's a 7 to 8 hours walk and the elevation is 3000m overnight camp.
Day-8
Drive to Shandur Pass via phander village overnight camp.
Day-9
enjoy the polo final and local dances and food, overnight camp.
Day-11
proceed to swat via either lowari pass or lowari Tunnel overnight Swat Serena Hotel explore the swat Butkada and swat palace.
Day-10
Drive to chitral 5 to 6 hours overnight Hondukish Highest hotel.
Day-12
Enjoy on the way to Islamabad Malakand Pass, Takhat Bai, one of the centres of Gandhara civilization, confluence of Indus and Kabul River and finish at Islamabad.
