GASHERBRUM II EXPEDITION (8035m)

Overview

Gasherbrum II is the world’s 13th highest mountain, rising as high as 8035 meters above sea level. Also known as K4, Gasherbrum II is the third highest mountain in the Gasherbrum massif.

This peak is located in the Karakoram mountain range in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The good news is that Gasherbrum II is relatively one of the up-front and reachable peaks. If you take the route usually taken by other climbers, and if you are well prepared and fully equipped, you can reasonably summit the peak under moderate climate.
